The panel session will bring together speakers from Germany and India who will share their perspectives on German-Indian relations and efforts to address various pressing environmental problems, including climate change and water management. These are critical themes for the Indo-German Partnership project supported by the DAAD and the UGC. According to the World Economic Forum report, among the top five risks include extreme weather events, a failure to meet climate change mitigation and adaptation needs, natural disasters, biodiversity loss and ecosystem collapse; and human-made environmental damage and disasters.
