Leibniz Lecture “Constitutional Review in Authoritarian Times”
Leibniz Prize holder Prof. Christoph Möllers (HU Berlin), expert in constitutional law and philosophy of law, will deliver a Leibniz Lecture entitled “Constitutional Review in Authoritarian Times.”
The talk will analyse institutional mechanisms that can mitigate political pressures and influences on constitutional courts and thereby help protect the integrity of the legal order. The Leibniz Lecture is organized by DFG in conjunction with the National Law University and serves to bring Indian and German legal scholars – and interested laypersons – into fruitful conversation and thereby support academic collaboration between India and Germany.
