Post-Doc Position at the Institute for Theoretical Physics at the Georg-August University of Goettingen

Applications are sought from scientists with a MSc/Diploma degree and a recent doctoral degree in theoretical physics with a very good background in condensed matter theory. Important prerequisites are experiences with at least one of the standard computational methods in quantum many-body physics (exact diagonalization, Lanczos method, density-matrix renormalization group and tensor-network methods in general, quantum Monte-Carlo techniques, numerical renormalization group) and a very good command of English. An adequate participation in teaching duties according to the standards at University of Goettingen is expected.
